Alayna Baillod, LCSW & Owner of Self Care Impact Counseling
Alayna has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University-Pueblo and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville. Alayna understands the courage and vulnerability required to seek help and is empathetic, strength-based and solution-focused in her approach. She is deeply passionate about helping people thrive and reach their goals. She believes all emotions have a job – to bring something to our attention, to give us information about our world, sometimes to give us the motivation to take action. Alayna sees her role as a therapist to help you better understand yourself and to teach you tools and skills so that you can be effective in your life.
In her free time, Alayna practices yoga, enjoys hiking, foraging for wild mushrooms, live music, scuba diving, ceramics, spending time with her family, friends and pets (two cats, three ducks and two bunnies). She also loves dogs and dreams of having a therapy dog someday! Alayna is a big fan of camping and loves trying new foods. Recently, Alayna has been spending a lot of time working on new ‘hands on’ projects and has been converting a shed in her backyard into a tiny home.
